If you are looking to transform your look, I suggest you start with your eye makeup.
By simply using different shades and colors of eye shadow, in addition to contouring and highlighting, you can make your eyes appear bigger, smaller, brighter, darker, and of course, give yourself that added pop that every girl is looking for.
Whether you desire eye makeup that is simple enough for running errands, wild and bold for attending a costume party, or sufficiently elegant for a wedding, there is virtually no limit to what you can do with your eye makeup. By using the correct tools and techniques, plus a little creativity and patience, you can master any look.
Your eyes are your palette!
Step 1: To prep your look, start with a makeup-free eye, and apply an eye- shadow primer.
Step 2: Next, apply a medium shade eye shadow to your entire lower eyelid
Step 3: Sweep a darker shade eye shadow into the contour of your eyelid, making sure to blend well by using small, circular motions. Wipe any excess eye shadow from your brush.
Step 4: Apply a light eye shadow under your brow bone to highlight and blend
Step 5: With the same color light eye shadow, highlight close to your tear duct.
Step 6: Apply eyeliner as close to your lash line as possible, and then blend the line with an angled eyeliner brush.
Step 7: Use the same eyeliner to accent the outer third of your lower lash line
Step 8: Finish the look with several coats of mascara.
